18 May OUR LIGHT IS ON 💡
We have joined forces with @lightonmh a life changing campaign which urges men to go beyond the banter and talk openly about how they are feeling and whether they are coping. Light on is launching across Dorset to tackle the stigma of talking about mental distress and emotional struggles, particularly among men.
Unfortunately we have seen first hand the damage caused by metal health problems and we have lost too many colleagues, friends, family members and clients to suicide. It’s time to put an end to the silence leading to suffering and pain and we want to join as thousands of people come together and turn the light on. Our chairs are a safe space for you to talk, our barbers are here to listen, it’s ok to say you are not coping and it’s ok to get help. We’re not giving up until every one has the help they need! Thank you @lightonmh for pushing this campaign it’s going to make a big difference, it’s time to speak up, our light is on
